No doubt choosing a beauty product is a bit overwhelming. At times, the perfectly crafted advertisement or exciting packaging of the trending beauty products may trap you into taking a chance. However, experimenting with a beauty product may cost you a big time. We had an insane list to follow but we compiled some tried and tested beauty products. Some of them won Allure’s best of beauty winners’ 2023 award.
This is an amazing foundation that wears really well on me. I usually use shade 200 of this product that adds on to my refreshing makeup look. As per the Allure readers this has won the best long wear foundation. Despite its fairly thick formula, a single pump yields a nice medium coverage upon testing; moreover, it can do the job of a concealer for you!
The best concealer goes to the Nars radiant creamy concealer again I just feel like it’s a classic if you haven’t tried this it really worth the hype in my opinion. Enriched with hydrating and multi-action skincare benefits, its light diffusing technology instantly conceals all imperfections and diminishes signs of fatigue. I personally use its Café Au Lait shade which looks very classy and blends effortlessly. Although it’s pricey, it offers 16-hour perfection for all skin tones and can be used for highlighting and contouring as well.
According to Allure Reader’s Choice Benefit’s Hoola is the best bronzer and I don’t have any doubts about it. It’s just that I feel like there are better bronzers and what I personally use is the Bright Side shade of Warm Wishes Bronzer Stick. I adore its soft tan effect with cool undertones. Based on a water resistant vegan formula; it is ultra-blendable, non-greasy, won’t cake, or clog pores and absolutely stands out with its performance.
This is the best blush so far as per Allure’s ranking. Perfect to withstand your average day or night out, this liquid blush surpasses other products in bendability and staying power. Available in matte and dewy finish, my favorite shade is Hope. I usually take small dot and the blush veers into clown territory smoothly. Free of sulfates , it is a featherweight formula with pigments that last all day long.
Comes in eight different shades from light to deep, this product has broken new grounds in giving lasting and luminous finish. I personally use Enlighten Shade that adds glow to my makeup. The lightweight liquid texture offers your skin to peek through while the pearlescent shimmer particles highlight your features with a lit within glow.
Urban Decay Naked 3 eyeshadow palette is an actual award winner. However, I would recommend the PATRICK TA eyeshadow palette, because for me the palette colors are wearable and feel amazing. It comes with all matte, both warm and cool toned shades ranging from ultra-pale to true black with two cream bases in deep shades. The pigmented and velvety formula blends well and offers a phenomenal natural yet no-makeup look.
The Nyx epic inkliner glides effortlessly across the eyelids, allowing precision with its sharp lines. I am not an eyeliner person, so it works great for me as it doesn’t smudge and is relatively easy to use. Whether you like to have a subtle cat-eye or a bold, dramatic look, it turns your eyeliner game up a notch. This is indeed formulated to resist sweat, humidity and precipitation.
The best mascara according to Allure readers is the Maybelline Sky High Mascara; but I don’t like using it, it makes my lashes clump.
What I can recommend is essence’s False Lash Mascara. If you would ask me to give up my entire makeup collection and could only keep one item, then I would pick this essence game changing mascara. For me it’s a do-it-all mascara that lengthens, volumizes, and literally curls my lashes, without making them clump.
It is more than just a treatment you put on before bed. Designed by modern formula, it makes my lips feel more hydrated with pillowy softness, corrects imperfections and fills in any lines. I use Cherry shade to give off an eye- catching glossy effect. Moreover, it maintains a demurely-glossy effect that lasts for hours.
Though the Benefit Gimme brow is a much hyped product for its shade range, naturally feathered and popular among the users. However, I don’t like jumping on the bandwagon as I prefer to use clear brow gels rather than the tinted ones. The gels are a life-saving product for everyday use. ALTHOUGH, it’s extremely easy to use and lasts all day without the need to reapply.
